Ádám!Alfred and Gyuri!Alfred (and all the other Alfreds, too) wish all my followers a lovely Christmas!
(I’ll have online access around Christmas, too, but I’m most likely not taking my computer with me, so I won’t have access to my own photos. Therefore posting this in advance.)
Ádám made an international carrier?:D Congratulations, dear. He deserves it. He is very talented, handsome, NICE, and good-loking guy. I was with him on the Spring Awakening audition in Budapest for a few years ago, and he was a gentleman with me.:D I really like him.
He’s been one of my special favourite Alfreds ever since I had the luck of seeing his premiere in Budapest in 2009. And I’m sure I’m not the only international fan he has. :-) How cool that you know him! I’ve only spoken to him on stage door, but by my experience he’s totally a sweetheart. :-)
I just want to travel to budapest to see him and talk to him after reading all this…
I highly encourage you to do this! :-))
Both boys are really nice and sweet: Gyuri’s so funny, and he’s got so much energy in him, even after performing. :D
Adam too is very charming. Though he doesn’t know that much English, he’s still a cute darling. :3
I would go for Adam, I think. I don’t know why, but somehow he does more to me than Gyuri so far could…I know it’s not fair to judge on only pictures and youtube…but I don’t know if I’ll get the chance to see them both. if I can chose, I’d chose for Adam!
If they’ll be doing a run in summer again I’ll probably try to go there! I really want to see it once in my life!
Good luck! Though Ádám’s skills in languages that are not Hungarian do not seem to be that much (well, nobody can be good at everything). But um, I can translate or something? If I’m there. :-P
Both of them are absolutely darling as Alfred, in different ways. I can’t really choose between them (nor between them and Tibor. Or Laci, but it’s been so long since I saw him that it’s harder to compare).
If you want to join to translate if English, Germand, Hands and Feet do not work anymore you’re always welcome of course!!!!!! Maybe we can arrange something and go together? Would be nice to have a guide knowing her way around!
And I won’t be dissapointed if Adam wouldn’t play, but my heart just seems to react on him more…but that doesn’t always say everything!
Fanetjuh, you definitely should go! The Budapest production is totally worth spending money on: I’ve already seen this one six times (I think) and I’ve always left the theater deeply impressed!
Hmmm… maybe you could make it for the 200th show? I keep hearing that they’re going to have it in September. I don’t know ‘bout others, but I’ll try to make for it. :-))
When it comes to Alfred’s, I think I like all three of the boys that are currently in the cast (plus Laci). All of them are different and unique at the same time, all of them are wonderful actors, who do a great job at performing their parts, and all are worth seeing. :-)
And I can see why you like Adam so much. ;-)
September would also be a great option! If I can find some company, I’d definitly try to go! For sure since the production will stop in Germany end of august, so I can spend some money on budapest I guess!
I’ll just see what happens! I’d love to go, but on my own without knowing anything of the language…I think it’s a bit hard! And if I go I just let the Alfred playing impress me, but if it’s Adam I’d be really happy!!!!!
Maybe we have to try it together?? Then we both won’t understand a word ;)
Sound great! And I bet you know some words in a few days and than I would still be like: “Huh?????” I’m gonna learn some important sentence in advance, I think!
I’m going to try to go there some time in the coming year, so we could try to coordinate, depending on how everything goes. I really need to see my boys again!
And while one can’t say anything for sure about their cast lists (I’m still wondering why Tibor’s suddenly as though disappeared off the face of the earth), at least lately Ádám has been playing a lot, so I think you’d have a good chance of seeing him as long as you’re there for more than one performance.
Would be nice to go together indeed! If they announce dates we should look for a date we both can go! It would be perfect if it would be in august, since I would have holidays then, september will be a bit harder, if everything goes well this year…
From my past experience, most likely the August/September dates will be announced pretty late - possibly only after the June run, though the June dates should be annouced pretty soon after the January run. But I don’t know anything about when I have holidays or money yet, so I can’t coordinate anything yet either. Don’t you all go planning away before I’m able to know when I can go! ;-)
It’s so cool, that you so like him! I’m really happy right now. Our little country has a very talented young artist, and you like him! (Sorry about my bad english. It’s HUNglish.:D)
I like a lot of your country’s talented young artists. :-D (The musical kind, to be more specific.) But Ádám’s certainly one of my special loves. Hungary generally has many of the best Alfreds, for some reason.
